President / Mark McDaniel
Mark McDaniel, current President of Storm Security, brings a lifetime of experience to the company. Beginning his career in security at just 16 years old, Mark has dedicated his professional life to understanding and mastering the field. He served as Branch Manager for 15 years, where he developed strong operational leadership and client relations. He later advanced to General Manager before ultimately becoming President, taking over the family business from his mother, Gail Storm, the former president. Mark’s leadership reflects both tradition and progress—honoring the company’s roots while continuing to push Storm Security forward through modernization and growth.
General Manager / Shane Young
Shane Young serves as General Manager and has been a key part of Storm Security for over 15 years. Starting his career as a security officer, Shane worked his way up through the ranks, gaining hands-on experience in nearly every aspect of operations. He spent over five and a half years as a Branch Manager, where he refined his leadership and operational oversight skills. After serving as Operations Manager, Shane was promoted to General Manager in 2025. His deep understanding of field operations and commitment to excellence make him an essential leader in maintaining the company’s high standards.
Operations Manager / Tyler McDaniel
Tyler McDaniel, Operations Manager, represents the next generation of leadership at Storm Security. Joining the company in 2022, Tyler began as a consultant and flex officer, gaining valuable frontline experience. He quickly advanced into the role of Branch and Training Manager, where he played a key role in developing personnel and improving operational consistency. In 2025, following his graduation from the University of the Cumberland's with a degree in Business Administration, Tyler was promoted to Operations Manager. His combination of formal education and hands-on experience positions him to help drive continued innovation and efficiency within the company.
